The goal of the Estonian Information and Competence Centre (ETKK) is to find and invent bright ideas and solutions suitable for the Estonian environment and society, the implementation of which would benefit Estonia.

The centre highlights the intellectual heritage of Estonian science and culture, includes research and intellectual works carried out by previous generations in Estonia and elsewhere in the world, which support the vitality of Estonia.

The aim of the centre is to strengthen the vitality of Estonian people and culture through practical solutions.

The activities of the centre are:

• Analysis of development documents and innovations of Estonia and other countries, providing recommendations;
• Ecologically sustainable functioning of Estonia as a precious environment, saving and increasing resources for future generations;
• Presentation of Estonian heritage, including Estonian cultural and scientific heritage, locally and internationally;
• Assistance in obtaining solutions that are beneficial to Estonia;
• Conducting and/or organising research;
• Producing and distributing research, books, films, educational films and audio stories that promote Estonia; teaching a mindset that values ​​progress in schools and introducing it in the press.
